Merli Vajakas (previously Antsmaa)
Born in Pärnu, Estonia, graduated UT Viljandi Culture Academy (BA) and Estonian Academy of Theatre and Music (MA) as a culture manager. Works also on projects in photography, music and internationally. She is managing Estonian artists RÜÜT and Tuulikki Bartosik. She is the CEO of Open Room Agency which is also part of Music Estonia network).
She has worked for Jazzkaar festivals as project manager and producer, also for A-tiim communication agency as PR project manager. Merli Antsmaa is also part of the Keychange network. She is currently working at Tallinn University as a research commucation specialist.
Merli Vajakas has been active in the event management field and worked with different festivals and NGO's (Kultuur aitab hingata, MTÜ Eesti Kultuurikorraldajate Liit / Artsmanagers, festival Särin etc). She has also done PR for festivals and films (for example Janno Jürgen's movie "Rain").
